ABCD Tech is an independent audio-visual and data cabling specialist, based in the heart of Birmingham. We’re ideally placed to be most of England’s local go-to guys!
We’re committed to seeking simplicity in an industry with a history for over-complicating things and we choose to work with a carefully selected, small but perfectly formed group of premium brands and suppliers.
We built our business offering honest and constructive consultancy based on bespoke requirements. We have forged many fantastic working relationships gained almost exclusively through referral, and are extremely proud of it!
We strive to get the most value out of whatever budget our clients have available – and not to get the most budget out of our partners. Money is a very real concern for a lot of organisations, and we’re used to working within budgetary constraints, however we have not found one that has stopped us yet!

The brainchild of long-term career telecoms engineer Ben Turner, ABCD Tech is built on a huge wealth of knowledge, passion and expertise gained not only through industry qualifications and accreditations such as the City and Guilds 3667 level 2 Communications Cabling award, but through a lifetime of experience in the field.

We are always looking at new ways to provide the absolute best solutions modern technology has to offer, along with extra curricula commitments such as researching and developing bespoke software solutions to go hand in hand with our hardware set-ups.

Some companies will supply audio-visual equipment. Some will come and do the data cabling. Others will fit a phone system. Occasionally one will come along and offer to do these things for you, but ends up being a complicated affair involving several sub-contracting companies, or worse, you could end up with a specialist job being completed on the fly by non-specialist engineers.

We have found that the simple things matter: Turning up on time on the correct date, arriving with correct ID and DBS certificates in hand, completing in a quick and timely fashion and causing minimal obstructions along the way and treating every client with the same respect and application regardless of the size of the job.
